TeaterBLIK was founded in 2007 by the theatre's artistic director Gertrud Exner.
The theatre wants to create a platform for innovative performing arts for children and their adults. Its vision is a strong imagery, sensual and musical expression that unites drama, object theatre, dance and music.
The theatre has an active touring business both at home and abroad, and it is teaterBLIK's wish to maintain contact with the international theatre environment, through collaborations, touring and artistic exchange
TeaterBLIK is currently located at Vangled 32. The theatre's premises have just undergone a major change as the hall and foyer have been environmentally optimised with support from the Fanø Varde LAG, co-financed by the European Union, and Fanø Sparekasses Fond.
